Simple terms for using this prototype fashion recommendation platform.
1. Purpose
MAUSAMÉ provides general fashion, fabric and weather-based styling guidance. It is not a professional tailoring, textile testing, weather forecasting or medical service.
2. Recommendations
Recommendations are practical suggestions, not absolute rules. Actual comfort depends on individual preference, fabric construction, fit, indoor/outdoor conditions and local weather.
- Temperature ranges are approximate starting points.
- Sample city weather shown on the site is illustrative, not a live forecast.
- Always use your own judgement for health-sensitive situations such as heatwaves.
3. User data
This frontend prototype stores saved outfits and your quiz profile in the browser's localStorage. No account server is connected in this version.
4. Content
Seasonal and fabric descriptions are educational. Trend labels are editorial examples and should not be interpreted as guaranteed market trends.
5. Images & credits
Photographs are sourced from Wikimedia Commons and used under their respective free licences (Creative Commons, CC0 or public domain). Authors and licences are listed on the Image Credits page. People appearing in photos are not affiliated with MAUSAMÉ.
6. Acceptable use
Do not misuse the platform, attempt to disrupt its operation, or represent its recommendations as certified professional advice.
7. Liability
The platform is provided "as is" for general guidance. MAUSAMÉ is not responsible for purchasing decisions, discomfort or outcomes arising from following a recommendation.
8. Future integrations
A future FastAPI backend may add live weather, authentication, saved profiles and richer recommendation data. Those services will require updated terms.
