Four seasons. Four wardrobe moods.
Use the season as a starting point, then override it with the actual temperature and humidity of the day.

Fresh, soft and lightly structured
Spring works beautifully with lawn, cotton, cambric, linen, voile and light khaddar. Think floral prints, pastels and light embroidery.
- Women: printed 2-piece / 3-piece, straight and A-line shirts
- Men: cotton kurta in pastel or white, light waistcoat for evenings
- Avoid: very heavy fabrics and dark layered outfits on warm days

Breathable is the style statement
Lawn, cotton, voile, linen and light cambric dominate the practical summer wardrobe. Keep embroidery restrained and silhouettes easy. Monsoon (Jul–Aug) adds humidity — choose looser fits.
- Women: lawn 2-piece, palazzo suits, cotton kurtis
- Men: cotton shalwar kameez, lightweight kurta, cotton trousers
- Avoid: velvet, thick wool, multiple layers and heavy embroidery

Earth tones + light layering
Cotton, linen, khaddar, cambric and light wool blends transition the wardrobe into cooler evenings. Mornings may be warm, nights crisp — carry a layer.
- Try: printed scarves, long shirts, structured kurtas
- Men: khaddar kurta with a light waistcoat
- Avoid: very sheer fabrics after sunset

Texture, warmth and richer colour
Khaddar, velvet, wool, karandi, pashmina, corduroy and warm blends become useful. Winter is also wedding season — layer thoughtfully.
- Women: velvet suits, shawls, coats, sweaters, cardigans
- Men: wool / khaddar kurta, waistcoats, jackets, shawls
- Avoid: single thin layers and open sandals outdoors
